What we collect
- Contact details you give us in the enquiry form, by email or by phone — name, email, telephone, and the project description you share.
- Commercial records generated by our quotes, invoices and deposit receipts — including the address we ship a piece to.
- Workshop-visit records kept in our reception book when you visit the Sungai Buloh atelier in person.
- Technical data from your browser when you visit this site — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and any cookies you have consented to.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, send drawings and quotes, and coordinate delivery.
- To meet our legal obligations under Malaysian commercial, tax and accounting law.
- To improve this website by understanding how visitors move through it (only if you accept analytics cookies).
- To send occasional project updates and journal articles to clients who have asked to be on our quarterly mailing list.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with parties who help us fulfil a commission — for example, our delivery partner who needs your address, or the courier who carries our fabric sample box. We do not sell data to anyone, and we do not pass your details to advertising networks.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into commissions are deleted after eighteen months. Commercial records connected to a paid invoice are retained for seven years to meet Malaysian tax requirements, then deleted.
Your rights under the PDPA 2010
Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act gives you the right to access the data we hold about you, ask for corrections, request deletion, and object to processing. Write to [email protected] with the subject line “PDPA request” and we will respond within twenty-one days.
Children
This website is not aimed at people under the age of eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we update this policy we will note the change at the top of the page. The current effective date is 1 April 2026.
