Three structural formats

Upholstered, slatted timber, or low-platform — each with the same hardwood skeleton.

  • Upholstered: hardwood frame plus a tufted, channelled or smooth headboard panel. The most-ordered Boldtura format.
  • Slatted timber: visible timber side rails and headboard, with a sprung beech-slat base. The format we recommend in humid rooms.
  • Low-platform: 220–280mm floor-to-mattress height, headboard optional. Often paired with a tatami-style room.
The extras

Worth knowing about before you brief us.

Storage drawers

Two- or four-drawer under-bed format on full-extension soft-close runners. Lined in solid cedar to deter moths.

Headboard depth

From 80mm slim profile to 220mm pillow-style. We mock the depth full-size before fabric cutting.

Knock-down build

All beds disassemble into headboard, footboard and two side rails for stairwells and lifts. No site-built frames.

Mattress compatibility

We design the rails to fit Malaysian standard mattress sizes plus King Koil, Sealy and Stearns & Foster Asia.

Headboard fabrics

Linen, velvet, boucle, full-grain leather, and washable Crypton performance fabric for kids’ rooms.

Build & install

Two-person crew, 30–45 minutes on site, including disposal of the old frame on request.
