Terms & Conditions

Plain-English terms under which we accept a bespoke commission. A signed quote between you and Boldtura constitutes the contract.

1. The parties

These terms apply to commissions placed with Boldtura Bespoke Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 1305821-M), Lot 22, Jalan Industri Kampung Baru, Sungai Buloh 47000, Selangor (“Boldtura”) by a private or commercial client (“the Client”).

2. Quotation & sign-off

A Boldtura quotation is valid for sixty days from issue. Once you sign the quote and pay the deposit, the price, specification and timeline are locked. Any subsequent change of specification will be costed and added in writing as a variation order.

3. Deposit and payment

We ask for a deposit of 50% of the quoted price to commence the build, with the balance settled before dispatch. For commissions over RM30,000 we offer a three-stage payment schedule split across sign-off, build start and dispatch. Payment is accepted by bank transfer (Maybank MYR account) or by company cheque made out to Boldtura Bespoke Sdn Bhd.

4. Build period & timeline

Quoted lead times begin on the date your deposit clears and your final specification (dimensions, fabric, finish) is approved in writing. We may request adjustments to the calendar if a critical material (a specific fabric, a particular timber dimension) is delayed by our supplier. We will tell you within five working days.

5. Specification approvals

Drawings, fabric samples and finish swatches form part of the contract. We will not commence cutting timber until you have signed off the drawings and the fabric sample. Two rounds of revision are included; further rounds may be costed at our standard design rate.

6. Delivery & install

Within the Klang Valley, delivery and install by our own crew is included in the quote. Outside the Klang Valley, delivery is quoted line-by-line. Risk in the goods passes to the Client on delivery and signed receipt.

7. Warranties

  • Frame & joinery: five years from delivery.
  • Springs & foam: three years.
  • Upholstery fabric: one year (subject to fair domestic use).
  • Customer-own-material (COM) fabric: not warranted by Boldtura — see the supplier’s terms.

8. Aftercare

For the first six months we provide a complimentary adjustment visit at no charge — settled slipcovers, cushion fill, minor joint adjustments. Beyond six months, aftercare is quoted per visit.

9. Change of mind

Because every piece is built to your specification, Boldtura cannot offer change-of-mind returns or refunds. Please review the drawings and fabric sample carefully before sign-off.

10. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays caused by acts beyond reasonable control — including but not limited to extended power outages, public emergencies declared by Malaysian authorities, and supplier collapses outside our supply chain.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by conversation is referred to mediation through the Malaysian Mediation Centre before either party initiates court proceedings.
